BTSの新しいアルバムタイトルが発表されましたね。
BTS IS BACKと銘打たれている復活第一作のタイトル名は
「ARIRANG」（アリラン）です。
既に昨年からソウルや公式アカウントで表示されていたデザインは「H2O（水）」のタイポグラフィー装飾がなされていました。
これはBTS（以下バンタン）がデビューした際に受けたバッシングについて語った、
「俺達を待っていたのは砂漠だった」
という言葉に対し、相愛のARMYさん達が、
「私達が砂漠をオアシスに変える」
と掲げたボードと垂れ幕を会場に用意し、バンタン達を嬉しいのに泣かせた有名エピソードからだと思います。
水が無いと生きて行けません。そういう意味です。
軍務を終えた7人が自分達のルーツを語ると公式にコメントしているアルバムタイトルは、「アリラン」という韓国に伝わる作者不明の楽曲です。
韓国の人々にとって魂のルーツでもある此方の「アリラン」は、ユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録されています。
26年1月にバンタンが語ったアリランの説明は「アリランという歌は、愛の歌でもあり、励ましの歌でもあり、祖国を誇る歌でもある」でした。
私は少しプライベートのライフワークとして、韓国の「恨（ハン）」の文化について1冊本を拝読したのですが、その中でも韓国というのは「恨（ハン）」の文化である。と韓国の教授が日本語にも精通しておられて、日本人の協力を得て、そう記しておられます。
恨みと聞くと、怖いな・・・、と思われるかもしれませんが、日本の東京の地元の言語表現と、韓国の言語表現はとても似ているんですね。
これはO.先生にお聞きして居て気が付いたのですが。
明確にその言葉を「言うのを控える。」又は「言葉で明確にする事を由（よし）としない」日本語にも或る価値観から考えると、これは単に「恨（ハン）」という言葉が持つ、表面的な意味だけで考えてはならないのだと分かります。
アリランは愛の歌でもある。
そうバンタンが語っていて気が付きましたが、アリランの和訳を見ると、

こちらの最後の行の歌詞「十里も行けずに足が痛む」を、捨てて行かれた私が恨みを持ち呪っているから、捨てて行った人物「アリラン峠を越えて行く「方」」は、足が痛んでしまう。
怪我をする、という風に解釈され、韓国を代表する楽曲「アリラン」にもあるように、韓国は「恨（ハン）」の文化なのだ。
本当に何もかも恨みだけなのだ、という間違った説があります。
でもこれは愛の歌でもあるのなら、この歌詞の解釈はかなり違ってきます。
これは如何しても連れて行く訳にいかない相手を、心がちぎれんばかりの気持ちで置いて一人峠を行く人物が、その強い覚悟を以ってしてもアリラン峠で自ら足が止めてしまい、動かすことが出来ない程、胸を裂かれる気持ちでいる、という描写です。
そしてこの歌を歌っている「私」は、それが痛い程分かって居るんです。
私を捨てて行く「方」と日本語で翻訳されているので、おそらくその人物は「王」です。

という表現です。
大韓民国の方々は情熱的な心を、秘めていたり、表現されていたりします。
アリランは、王が命の危険を伴う状況なので、せめて愛する妃を守る為、峠の麓（ふもと）に置いて行ったが、アリラン峠で如何しても妃を置いて行くことが出来ずにいる。
妃は王の自分への愛の深さを知っているので、後を追って行く。
一緒に行こう。生きるのも死ぬのも一緒です。
と誓いの花を髪に挿しています。
王は愛する妃と再会した後、今後の事を思い、前を向いて厳しい姿を見せている。
その王を励ます為に、妃は黙ってその姿に視線を送って居る。

一説に寄ると、韓国の王妃だけが着けられる花が椿なんだそうです。
アリランは再会の歌です。
そしてラブソングでもあります。
昨日、LOVE SONGという文字が、BTS officialからオブジェで公表されています。
アリランは作者不明なまま、永遠に歌い継がれている武勲（いさおし・讃える歌）でもあります。
愛は誰が作ったのでも、誰に教えられたでも無いのに、愛するようになる。
バンタンが自分達のルーツ・アリランをアルバムタイトルに選んだ理由は、ARMYさん達への再会とARMYさんだけが唯一の相愛達である。という意志を再表明したのでしょう。
