本日も雨で嬉しいです。

言葉を持たぬ古くからの友人達も午前中からご機嫌でした。

遮光カーテンの外が少し明るいので、今は晴れているようです。

何故午後でもカーテンを閉めているかというと、前回の投稿で書いたように、デジタールデータ写真の色補正をする時は、目を室内の明るさに慣れさせないといけないんです。

眩しい時は瞳孔（死んでしまうと開きっ放しになる所）が窄まり（すぼまり）、暗い場所では瞳孔は開き気味になります。

光を多く目の中に取り込む為です。

目は、私達が預かり知らぬ所で、自分の目が最善の状態で景色が見えるよう調整しています。 

その最善の状態に目をする間、室内で目を慣らさなければなりません。

実はそれは個人差があるので、最低でも30分を見ておくと、色補正がし易いと思います。

 

今日KindleでAIの画像や動画作成について、そもそもAIで可能なことは2026年にはどの位あるのかを知りたくて、いくつかサブスクリプション契約でピックアップしました。

新しいことを知るのはいつも瑞々しい気持ちになりますね。

 

　

 

　

アップルミュージックのapplemusic POPでAlistというプレイリストを見つけました。

ハリー・スタイルズが新しいアルバムをドロップしていたんですね。

早速聴いています。

まだ歌詞を調べていないのですが、前回のアルバムにもあった憂鬱で、白く飛んだ多幸感や虚無感がアルバム毎のテーマを貫く中、今回のKiss All The Time.Disco,Occasionally.は、1975年~1985年までのEarly 80'sの匂いがしてとても好きです。

ハリー・スタイルズの創る音は、憂鬱なのにいつも白く晴れているように聴こえます。 

偶然にもこの頃、白いネイルが今年の5月からの初夏に合うような気がして、アマゾンで購入しました。

先程見た報道では、拘束にまでは至らないだろうという大韓民国の弁護士の見解が書いていありました。

そこまで市場が変動する可能性は、ハイブとして予見出来ていたかが不透明とありました。

 

又、それを強く罪に問われる怖れがあると、社内でコンサルティング業務の部所が機能していなかったのでは？　ともあります。

 

私は昨年から、パンさんが何度も取り調べに行かれていたので、お身体がお辛くないだろうか？　と心配していました。

警察の5回（？）に渡る取り調べが終わっても出国停止の措置は消されていなかったのですね。驚きました。

 

報道ではこれだけじっくり取り調べに応じた実績から、拘束までは行かないだろう、とも予測されており少しホッとしました。

 

私が住んでいる日本と大韓民国は、情勢が全く違うので、やはり自分達の勝手な予測でパンさんのことを過剰に心配し過ぎるのも、楽観視し過ぎるのも、控えるべきではないでしょうか？

 

似ている所もあるけれど全く違う文化でもある国の話なので、アーミーさん達は現在パンさん関連の情報については、静かにされていると思います。

私はファンなので、アーミーさん達をお手本に、やはり報道を静かに目で追いながら、バンタンの音楽を聴き込んでいようと思っています。

 

ちゃんとしっかり創られたアルバムを聴き込み、そのアルバム全体の楽曲で何が描かれていたかを読み込むのは、一生続く読書と似ていますね。

I’m happy it’s raining again today.
My old friends who can’t speak were in good spirits from the morning on.
It looks a little bright outside the blackout curtains, so it seems to be sunny now.
The reason I keep the curtains closed even in the afternoon is that, as I wrote in my previous post, when I’m color-correcting digital photos, I have to let my eyes adjust to the brightness inside the room.
When it’s bright, the pupils (the part that stays open if you die) constrict, and in dark places, they tend to dilate.
This is so they can let more light into the eyes.

To get our eyes into that optimal state, we need to let them adjust to the indoor lighting.
Since this varies from person to person, I think it’s best to wait at least 30 minutes to make color correction easier.
 
Today, I wanted to learn more about AI-generated images and videos on Kindle—specifically, what AI will be capable of by 2026—so I picked up a few titles through my subscription.

日曜日なので、穏やかな内容を書いています。

BTS(以下バンタン）の日本公演は無事に済んだそうですね。

久しぶりのイルアミ（日本アーミーさんのこと）とバンタンの再会と披露宴が穏やかに済んで良かったです。

（私はファンです。） 

春の白い午後にスーパーの入り口にあった、チューリップの苗を3つ購入して植えていたのが開きました。

チューリップは本来、前の年の9月頃にネット通販で球根のアタックがありますので、興味がある方はぜひ夏が終わり始めたらご検討下さい。

 

チューリップはオランダの名花ですが、原種はもっと暑い地域のサバンナに似た勇壮な大地に生えていたそうです。

可憐なのに何処か力強いのは其の所以かもしれませんね。

 

開き切ったチューリップって街路で見かけると、少し悲しくなるのですが、このように歌姫カルメンを思わせる上品さに満ちています。

此れは嬉しい発見でした。

先日メルカリで大きめの花瓶を買いました。

先ほど部屋のドアの前に届いたそうです。LINEのヤマトで確認しました。

ヤマト運輸や佐川急便のオフィシャルでアカウント登録をすると（無料）、荷物が届く前に日にちや時間が指定できますし、割りと直前になっても一度指定した日時が変更出来るので便利ですよ。（佐川急便は変更は2回迄でした。）

普段私はとてもお世話になっています。

 

花瓶って小さ過ぎると思いませんか？ 

花を生けたいと思った時イメージするのは、美術館のエントランス・スペースにあるような、沢山の量を高さのある大きな花瓶に設えている（しつらえている）風景です。

若しくは一輪から数輪の花を、野の花のように可憐に楚々と生けるものですよね。

 

私もけっこう花瓶を買う方で、気が付くと小さな花瓶で雰囲気のあるものを沢山買っていました。 

素敵な名前を持つ庭の薔薇やジャスミン、そして季節毎に巡り合う鉢花を、さあ生けようという時に花瓶が小さくて良く枝や茎を切っていたんですね。

 

でも先日、ユーフォルビア・ブラックバードの花を切って生けようとしたら、寸胴（ずんどう）と呼ばれるステンレスの大鍋しか高さが合わなくて、今取り急ぎ其処に生けています。

 

メルカリで購入した大きくて背の高い花瓶に生け替えるのが、楽しみです。

きっと本日の午後、此処に写真を載せると思います。

私がこちらに載せている写真は、ご覧のように色補正という工程をフォトショップというソフトウエアで行っています。

今日のチューリップ連写は微かな色補正だけですが、3年程前から今までの色補正とは全く違う色補正・明るさ補正を行わなければならなくなっていました。

 

同じ天候、同じ季節でも過去数十年の補正値とは別の、訓練で習得した技術、YMC・BGR +濃度の基準値とは別の補正値が必要になっていました。

 

色というのは波長（波調）という波形を持った目に見えない線を出していて、それが太陽や電灯の明かりを曲げて私達の目に象と色を届け、目の神経と機能がそれをさらに補正し（自覚無しに知らないでやっているんですよ。びっくりですよね！）、脳がそれをさらに複雑に補正して、色として判別しているんです。

難しいですね！　私の今日のお昼はハムと胡瓜とプロセス・チーズと辛子バターのサンドイッチです気にしなくて良いですよ。

アフター・コロナぐらいから、過去数十年の気象条件に何らかの条件加わったようで、3年程前から一年間一年中グリーン（BGR値のG）をやたらと補正しなければならなくなっています。

何か気象条件が大きく、海域単位で変わったのかもしれないと予測を立てている所です。

 

写真に撮らければ認識できないものは、今軽くご説明した写真のレンズ機能を通して焼き付けた画像の中でしか見えない色の他に、美しさの種類があります。

 

よく写真に撮ってみて分かることがあるのですが、スマートフォンのレンズには人の顔が鏡で見ている顔とは似ても似つかないように映る特性があり、こちらは若い方やデジタル・ネイティブの自撮りが上手い方にはお馴染みですよね。

 

写真は嘘だと言われていますが、撮ったままこそが本来の自然な姿というのは大嘘です。

レンズの特性、フィルム・デジタルデータの特性を知り、レンズを覗いた時にご自身が見た姿・形こそ、撮ったもの・人の本来の姿です。

目が自然に補正しているのはあくまでも距離やフレーム画角の修正であり、出来る限り沢山の情報を取り込もうとしているからで、曲がった像を見ているのではありません。

 

見た状態に限りなく近付ける為に、デジタル・データでは専用ソフトを使って色や明るさの補正を行います。

私が出しているのは、作品というジャンルの写真なので、色を偏らせたり、商業写真・広告写真のルールを破った写真構図を取ったりしています。

なので色補正をしていても、私の好みや気分が反映されているのでした。

蓮華草

こちらは蓮華草（れんげそう）です。

ウィキペディアで調べると、私達日本人の多くが蓮華（れんげ）と呼ぶ花は蓮華草と言うんだそうです。

蓮華だと睡蓮をも含むのだそうです。

 

本来の発音は「げんげ」とウィキにはありますが、「れんげ」という発音も江戸時代からあるそうです。

まだ調べていないのですが、濁音「”」が付くと、日本語は謙虚さの発音になり、身内やご自身が其処まででもありませんよ、と本当は誇りに思っているのに、他の方にはそう謙遜する音の表現ではないか、と思っています。

 

「れんげ」の音の響きは、連なる華という字の「げ」のことで、お膝元であったどちらかの土地の方が謙遜して「げんげ」と呼んでいたのではないでしょうか？

 

蓮華の香り、は、蓮華草であっても、水豊かな緩やかで広い澄んだ流れを連想しますね。

水には香りが無いようで在りますが、 同じ水と呼ばれる大小様々なコミュニティに流れる、淑やかで毅然とした香りはきっと蓮華草のように伝わり育まれ続けるのでしょうね。

Tulip Photo Series 1

Since it’s Sunday, I’m writing something lighthearted.
I hear BTS’s (hereinafter referred to as “BTS”) Japan concert went off without a hitch.
I’m glad the long-awaited reunion between the Japanese ARMY and BTS, as well as their celebration, went smoothly.
(I’m a fan.)

The three tulip seedlings I bought at the entrance of a supermarket on a white spring afternoon and planted have finally bloomed.
Tulip bulbs are usually available for purchase online around September of the previous year, so if you’re interested, please consider getting some once summer starts to wind down.
 
Tulips are famous as the flower of the Netherlands, but apparently, the original species grew in rugged, savanna-like landscapes in much hotter regions.
That might explain why they’re delicate yet somehow powerful.
 
Seeing fully bloomed tulips on the street usually makes me a little sad, but these are filled with an elegance reminiscent of the opera diva Carmen.
This was a delightful discovery.
 

　Tulip Photo Series 2

I bought a large vase on Mercari the other day.
I heard it was just delivered to the door of my room. I checked via Yamato’s LINE app.
If you register for a free account on the official websites of Yamato Transport or Sagawa Express, you can specify the delivery date and time before your package arrives. It’s really convenient because you can even change your scheduled delivery time right up until the last minute. (With Sagawa Express, you can make changes up to two times.)
I rely on these services a lot.
 
Don’t you think vases are often too small?
When I think about arranging flowers, I picture a scene like the one in the entrance hall of an art museum, where a large, tall vase is filled with a profusion of blooms.
Or perhaps arranging just one or a few flowers, arranged delicately and modestly like wildflowers.
 
I’m actually quite the vase collector, and before I knew it, I’d bought a whole bunch of small, atmospheric ones.
Whenever I’d try to arrange the garden roses and jasmine with their lovely names, or the potted flowers I encounter each season, the vases were so small that I’d often have to trim the branches and stems.
 
But the other day, when I tried to cut and arrange some Euphorbia ‘Blackbird’ flowers, the only container with the right height was a large stainless steel pot—the kind called a “zundou”—so I’ve temporarily arranged them there for now.
 
I’m looking forward to transferring them to the tall, large vase I bought on Mercari.
I’m sure I’ll post a photo here this afternoon.

Tulip Photo Series 3

As you can see, I use Photoshop to perform color correction on the photos I post here.
While today’s series of tulip photos only required minor color correction, for the past three years or so, I’ve had to apply color and brightness corrections that are completely different from what I used to do.
 
Even under the same weather conditions and in the same season, I found myself needing correction values different from those used over the past few decades—values based on techniques I’ve mastered through training, distinct from the standard YMC, BGR, and saturation values.
 
Color consists of invisible lines with waveforms called wavelengths. These bend the light from the sun or electric lamps to deliver images and colors to our eyes, and our eye nerves and functions correct them further (We do this unconsciously, without even realizing it. 

 

Surprising, isn’t it?), and the brain applies even more complex corrections to distinguish them as colors.
It’s complicated! My lunch today is a sandwich with ham, cucumber, processed cheese, and mustard butter. Don’t worry about it.

Since around the time of the post-COVID era, it seems that some new factor has been added to the weather conditions of the past few decades; for about three years now, I’ve had to constantly adjust the green (the “G” in the BGR values) throughout the entire year.
I’m currently working on a theory that some major change in weather conditions may have occurred on a regional oceanic scale.
 
There is a type of beauty in photographs that cannot be recognized unless captured on film—beyond the colors visible only in the images imprinted through the lens functions I briefly explained earlier.
 
There’s something you often realize when you take a photo: smartphone lenses have a tendency to make people’s faces look completely different from how they appear in a mirror—a phenomenon familiar to young people and digital natives who are skilled at taking selfies.
 
People say that photographs lie, but the claim that the unedited image is the true, natural form is a complete falsehood.
By understanding the characteristics of the lens and the nature of film or digital data, the form and shape you see when looking through the lens is the true, natural form of the subject or person.
What the eye naturally corrects is merely adjustments for distance and the frame’s angle of view—it does this to capture as much information as possible—not because it is seeing a distorted image.
 
To get as close as possible to what the eye sees, we use specialized software to adjust color and brightness in digital data.
Since the photos I produce fall under the category of “art,” I intentionally skew colors and use compositions that break the rules of commercial or advertising photography.
So even when I’m adjusting colors, my personal preferences and mood are still reflected in the final image.

Lotus Grass

 

This is the Japanese water lily (Renge-so).
According to Wikipedia, the flower that many of us Japanese people call “Renge” is actually called “Renge-so.”
Apparently, the term “Renge” also includes water lilies.
 
Wikipedia states that the original pronunciation is “genge,” but the pronunciation “renge” has apparently existed since the Edo period.
I haven’t looked into it yet, but I suspect that when a voiced consonant (“” ) is added, the Japanese pronunciation takes on a humble tone—a way of saying to family or oneself, “I’m not really that great,” even though one is actually proud of it, but chooses to be modest in front of others.
 
The sound of “renge” comes from the “ge” in the character for “linked flowers” (連なる花). Perhaps people in one of the regions near the source of the lotus humbly referred to it as “genge”?
 
The scent of the lotus—even when referring to the lotus plant itself—brings to mind a gentle, wide, clear stream flowing through water-rich lands.
Though water itself seems to have no scent, the gentle yet resolute fragrance that flows through communities of all sizes—all called “water”—will surely continue to be passed down and nurtured, just like the lotus plant.

風の花 / The Flower of the Wind / Sunday edition

日曜日なので、穏やかな内容を書いています。

 

最近手に入れた資料の中に1983年に刊行された「新羅千年の美　韓国古代文化展　新安海底引き揚げ文物」があります。

急に毎日がバタバタし始めたので、まだ一度開いただけで読んだとは言えないんですけれど、凄まじい韓国の美が写っています。

私はアマゾンの古書店で購入しました。

丁度BTSの「ARIRANG（アリラン）」というアルバムから、新たに大韓民国（韓国）の歴史に興味を持たれている方も多いと思います。

アマゾンで韓国と記入すると沢山の研究書がヒットしますので、良かったら試して見て下さいね。

 

アルバム「ARIRANG」の中では私は、Hooligan、2.0、FYAが好きです。

Netflixで現在公開中のビッグカムバックライブのトークで、RMさんが自分は此のアルバムでは今朝まではこの曲で、ステージ上に居る今は別の此の曲と話して居て、音楽ユーザーらしいな、と素敵な気持ちになりました。

 

気まぐれというのは余り良い事では無いと言われていますが、私はGIN & ITの考え方、一人として堂々と眼を開いて世界に取り汲むやり方のように、最高の物は何千回と繰り返し自分の中に問い掛け、回答を出すやり方もアリだと考えています。

 

一番好きな曲が同じ曲で在り続けるのも自分に従い続ける事ですし、ITが変化していくのも、楽曲の事を考え続ける限り其のアルバムや曲の中を生き続けることですよね。

 

GIN & IT = マティーニのレシピの一つ。GINとお前の最高（IT)を合わせろ、の意。

 

以前東京のサントリー美術館の展示に行った時、会場内の人の多さに驚きました。

都内は沢山美術館やアートスペースが在って羨ましいな、と日曜美術館の最後の告知画面を見ながら思っていたんですが、こんなに沢山の人が来るのだから、都内在住であっても中々じっくり見る訳にはいきませんよね。

私は駆け足で観るに留め、会場のミュージアムショップで其の展示のブックを買おうかどうか、少し悩んだのを憶えています。

 

部屋に戻ってもネットで確かめて迷ったのですが、値段との折り合いで結局買いませんでした。

余裕があったり古書店で行きたかった美術展のブックを見つけた場合は、ブックの撮影は一級品ですので是非とも購入するべきだと思います。

 

ブックだと部屋に居ながら展示品をじっくり味わうことも可能です。

日曜版を読んで下さっている皆さんも、もし宜しければアマゾンで検索してみて下さいね。

 

私の世代・沈黙の世代では、まだお隣りの大韓民国の文化詳細を授業で習う機会が非常に少なく、2026年に1983年の韓国古代文化展のブックを観ると、何故もっと早くこの偉大な大韓民国の感性の歴史と触れ合えなかったのかと、自分の運の悪さが悔やまれます。

 

現在は、未だ知らぬ大韓民国の豊饒（ほうじょう）、繊細で力強く毅然とした美が沢山日本にも入ってきていますし、BTSの大成功したビッグ・カムバック・アルバム「ARIRANG」という、ビートルズの再来と言われて久しい韓国出身の7人のメンバーご自身達の、ルーツを掲げたハイ・クオリティ楽曲が世界中に鳴り響いていますので、普段よりも大韓民国の芸術や美、市井の繊細でシャープな感性に触れる機会が多く在るのではないでしょうか？

 

詳しくはありませんが、私は、社会学と呼ばれる学問のやり方で、人々の暮らしや気候、風土、流行、市井の暮らし、産業や経済への価値観等を見つめ、その国や地域、人種、文化を咀嚼したり、あれこれ考えるのが好きです。

ライフ・ワークというより趣味に近いのかもしれません。

 

今朝は「ARIRANG」の「2.0」のパフォーマンスや衣装から連想した一片、「風」について大韓民国の感性は如何なのか、自分の住む日本では風の祭りは存在するのか？　と検索したばかりです。

 

Google検索のAI回答によると、日本では強風から農作物を守る「風止め」という価値観が存在し、それを祈願する祭祀が在るそうです。

此方は主に9月（二百十日）に日本全国の各神社で執り行われて居るそうです。

びっくり。

愛知県豊川市では、何と古くから伝わる「風の神様」の祭礼が存在するそうです。

 

実は私の住む街の境に、法力を持つお坊様が風を封じたという場所が残っています。

学術的に事実確認がされて居るのか、市井の伝承なのかは分かりません。

其ちらはお寺で、大変お庭が美しい場所でもあります。

 

セレンディピティという偶然を幸運に変える、といった少しファンタジーな考え方が在ります。

私は、いつの間にか世間でまことしやかに言われ出した、引き寄せというのは存在しないと思います。

 

今朝日本における風の祭礼を調べたように、ステージ・パフォーマンスから知的刺激を受けて、自分の中で疑問やもっと知りたい興味が点滅し、風まかせに調べて辿り着く、その時最高のBETTER THINKという、いきなり自分の中に現れた美しい森の中をさらに進む為、落ちている美しい宝石を拾うことを、私はセレンディピティだと考えます。

Since it’s Sunday, I’m writing something gentle.
 
Among the materials I recently acquired is a book published in 1983 titled *The Beauty of a Thousand Years of Silla: Exhibition of Ancient Korean Culture—Artifacts Recovered from the Shin’an Seabed*.

My days have suddenly become so hectic that I’ve only opened it once and can’t really say I’ve read it yet, but it captures the breathtaking beauty of Korea.
I bought it from a used bookstore on Amazon.
I imagine many of you have recently developed an interest in the history of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) thanks to BTS’s album *ARIRANG*.

For my generation—the “Silent Generation”—there were very few opportunities to learn about the cultural details of our neighboring Republic of Korea in school.  Just this morning, inspired by the performance and costumes of “ARIRANG 2.0,” I searched to see what the Republic of Korea’s sensibilities are regarding “wind,” and whether wind festivals exist in Japan, where I live.
 
According to Google Search’s AI response, there is a tradition in Japan called “kazetome” (wind-stopping) designed to protect crops from strong winds, and there are rituals held to pray for this.
These rituals are reportedly held mainly in September (on the 210th day of the year) at shrines across Japan.
I’m surprised.
In Toyokawa City, Aichi Prefecture, there is apparently a festival dedicated to the “God of the Wind” that has been passed down since ancient times.

セクシャル・マイノリティと長い間呼ばれていた、人間の体2種類とは違う心を持った人々と、2種類の何方か一方とだけ愛し合う事になっているだけ、では無い、人々がいます。

 

私もバイ・セクシャルでお馴染みですので、所謂セクシャル・マイノリティ・LGBTQ+ From the World on Loveに立っている一本の葦（あし）であり、青い眼の兎であり、師から頂いた黒く美しい翼を持っていようと考えています。

 

私は女性の体を持っていて、自分の女性の体をとても愛しています。

そして自身の女性の精神をとても気に入っています。

愛する人がどの体を持っていても、私は特に抵抗はありませんし、今まで恋愛感情を持った相手はどちらの性でもありました。

そういう種類のバイセクシャルです。

 

ややこしくなりますが。

この基準点が反転した人もいるんですね。

女性のボデイを持っていて、男性の心を持つ、どちらの性でも恋愛対象である人物です。

以前人前式について書いた時、私の毎日で静かな反響がありました。

私は個人情報を非公開にしていますので、此処で皆さんとお話ししているのを知っている方は極僅かです。

あまり人前式について知られていなかったので、それならと、O.先生と人前式のお二人のドレスや式に参加する方々のフォーマルの衣装を探してる所です。

 

MENS（メンズ）・LADIES（レディース）は普段服を選ぶ上で良く目にしています。

それに加えて、LADYMENS（レディメンズ）とMENLADYS（メンレディース）という造語を創りました。

LADYMENS（レディメンズ）は、女性の心で男性のボディを持つ人。

MENLADYS（メンレディース）は、男性の心で女性のボディを持つ人。

此れで整理し易いかもしれません。

 

しかも私の場合、これはO.先生に指摘される前に薄々あれ？と思っていたんですが。

時々私は無性的な心で居る状態が多いんですね。

でも基本女性なので女性です（笑）

 

ポイントという良く或るグラフの一点で言うと、現在コレクションで発表されている殆どの服は、一点のポイントしか無いように私には見えます。

どちらの性が着ても街を泳いで居て特に違わない感じです。

なので造ったばかりですが、MENS・LADIESと分けずに一点のポイントから発生しているだけの服です。（ターゲットの性が無い）だけでも整理し易いですよね。

 

昨晩のBTSのライブ（20260321 Netflix)では衣装替えが無く、韓国では軍務に就く制度がありますので、軍務を終えて初のBTSライブということで、世界同時配信がNetflixでされるという大注目のシーンで、とても美しく機能的でありファッションという概念性を強くメッセージする衣装でした。

 

大韓民国のアイデンティティを再解釈して表現されているように思えました。

大韓民国の民族性と社会風土は、私の住む日本と同じ部分と全く違う文化を持っていますが、昨晩のBTSの衣装は、市井で脈々と継承され続けている大韓民国特有の態度や礼儀を、ステージ衣装のデザインで強く打ち出されていました。

 

西洋のドレスもそうですが、継承されている各国の文化態度、文化礼儀、価値観は、出力レベルの数値を上げると、その姿が非常に分かり易く発信される特徴が在り、エンターテインメント上での出力に限定すると、現在と未来の文化態度、文化礼儀、価値観が姿を現しており、現在見て現在買いたいな、同じものを着たいな、と思い身に纏うと、現在に居ながら未来を着れるのだと知りました。

 

未だ見ぬ歩兵がやって来る、といつか日本の現代詩人が予感を言いましたが、LADYMENS//MENLADYSという、From the World on Loveの未だ見られて居ない2点を整理して出力すると、ファッションというものに私達が長い間持っていた謎が、ファッションとは異様なまでに広大なものである、と回答を返します。

 

服をあれこれ見てデザインの中を自由に泳がれる時に、LADYMENS//MENLADYSだったら如何着るかな？　と落ちてきた花弁のようにふと見てみると、お洒落というものが断じて私達を排除する意思を持た無いと分かります。

 

BTSが昨日着ていたファッションは、濡れた美しい漆黒の天に、遠い彼方から届く鋭い無数の銀の光沢、というテーマを持ち、敷かれたばかりのアスファルトみたいで、新しい道を帰還しながら時間を縫って往く、私達全員の未然が続く現在を祝福して居るようでも在りました。

Since it’s Sunday, I’m writing something lighthearted.
 
Last night, BTS’s free concert in Seoul was streamed live worldwide on Netflix, and their outfits were absolutely stunning.
 
There are people who are not simply defined by being “sexual minorities”—a term used for a long time to describe those with hearts that differ from the two standard human body types—or by being destined to love only one of those two types.

I often see “MENS” and “LADIES” when choosing clothes.

“LADYMENS” refers to someone with a woman’s heart and a man’s body.
“MENLADYS” refers to someone with a man’s heart and a woman’s body.

Actually, in my case, I had a vague feeling something was off even before Prof.O. pointed it out.
I often find myself in a state of having a genderless mindset.
But since I’m fundamentally female, I’m a woman (lol).
 
If I were to describe it as a single point on a common graph, it seems to me that most of the clothes currently being presented in collections have only that one point.
It feels like they could be worn by either gender as they stroll through the streets, with no particular difference.
 

So, even though I just came up with this, these are clothes that originate from that single point, without being divided into “LADYMENS” and “MENLADYS.” (The fact that there’s no target gender) makes it easier to organize, doesn’t it?
 
At last night’s BTS concert (20260321 Netflix), there were no costume changes. 

Since South Korea has a mandatory military service system, this was their first concert after completing their service—a highly anticipated event streamed simultaneously worldwide on Netflix. 

Their outfits were incredibly beautiful and functional, strongly conveying the conceptual nature of fashion.

It seemed to me that they were reinterpreting and expressing the identity of the Republic of Korea.
While the national character and social customs of the Republic of Korea share some similarities with those of Japan, where I live, they also possess a culture that is entirely different; yet, last night’s BTS costumes powerfully conveyed, through their stage design, the unique attitudes and etiquette of the Republic of Korea that have been passed down through the generations in everyday life.
 
Just as with Western dresses, the cultural attitudes, etiquette, and values passed down in each country have a characteristic where, when the “output level” is raised, their essence is conveyed in a very clear and accessible way. 

 

When limited to entertainment-based output, the cultural attitudes, etiquette, and values of both the present and the future are revealed. 

I realized that by seeing them now, wanting to buy them now, and wanting to wear the same thing—and actually putting them on—I can wear the future while still living in the present.
 
A Japanese modern poet once prophesied that “unseen infantry is coming.”

When we organize and present the two unseen pieces from “From the World on Love”—LADYMENS//MENLADYS—the mystery we have long held regarding fashion reveals itself, answering that fashion is, in fact, an extraordinarily vast phenomenon.
 
When I look at various clothes and freely swim through their designs, I suddenly glance at them—like a fallen petal—and wonder, “How would I wear LADYMENS//MENLADYS?” In that moment, I realize that style has absolutely no intention of excluding us.
