Nothing to Lose 2 [Under 6]

Nothing to Lose 2 [Under 6]

You need money to make a living.
The most stable way of life is to continue working to earn a steady income—an amount that allows you to live comfortably and sustain yourself financially—adjusted to the ups and downs of your current lifestyle.

There are two ways to achieve this.

One is to get a job with a subsidiary of a large corporate group, where you can utilize your strengths and perform your best work, thereby helping to increase salaries for both the company and your fellow employees.
While receiving a salary, you apply the wisdom and rationality you’ve cultivated within that company—gained through your work—to both your professional and personal life.
We refer to this entire process as “life.”

Life
 ↓
Company Daily Life
         (School)

Your life encompasses both your company and your daily life.
Since your career begins once you reach working age, the “company” aspect likely won’t be part of your life for about 12 years.

Strangely enough, there is actually one more way to lead a stable life—and it’s the most stable one of all.

It’s funny, isn’t it?
Normally, there’s only one number one, but is it a struggle? A journey? A contest? Perhaps it’s what we call the “Big Game”—a game so vast and with such a long playing time that no one but the participant can know the outcome?
At least, that’s how it’s portrayed in modern American poetry and hip-hop lyrics.

In that “Big Game” alone, there are actually two first-place winners.

The other “first place” is the way to make money and stabilize your life by walking a path no one has ever walked before.
It’s the way that all so-called “creators” make a living by working as freelancers.
This is a fact.

So, let’s just leave those people who say things like “money doesn’t matter” alone.
They’re just kids.
They’re kids under six years old—just big in body.
That’s why this page on specific topics is labeled [Under 6].
It means that kids under six who are just big in body aren’t suited to read this.
They wouldn’t understand it anyway.

Ultimately, how you choose to think about money is up to you.
There’s no particular problem if you don’t rush to decide.
Money is the only “password” for purchasing things.
If you were to buy things in a world where money didn’t exist, what do you think would happen?
A world would prevail where people sell more or less to others based on personal likes and dislikes—giving poor-quality items to those they dislike and reserving high-quality items only for those they like.

As history has shown, all such attempts have ended in failure.
That’s why money—which allows anyone to buy things at a price and quality they find acceptable, regardless of who they are—is so important; it’s the only reason it exists in the world.

That’s why everyone is equal in the face of money.
Furthermore, people are equal in the face of safety.
People are also equal in terms of the right to education (that is, the right to receive training that enables them to work).

That is the only true equality.
As a guideline to make things easier to understand: everything that has no physical form is equal.
None of those things can be bought with money.

The things that can be bought with money—in this world—are inherently unequal.
This is because things that can be bought with money exist in a form within that inequality.
Talent, emotions like love and sadness (though we don’t actually buy those), physical appearance, and health—none of these can be bought with money.
Since things that cannot be bought are not in circulation, they cannot be purchased with money.

While most things exist equally in the realm of non-monetary value, there are no things that can only be bought within the realm of inequality.

People who dismiss money as trivial will never truly understand this until the day they die.
They’re just children whose bodies have grown larger.

People who say things like “Money doesn’t matter” will never truly understand this until the day they die.
They’re just kids whose bodies have grown bigger, so let’s just leave them be.
They’re the kind of people you and I can happily leave behind.

In a school class, the only thing that’s equal is the right to study; there’s inequality between those who excel and those who don’t.
Since they seem unable to accept that, even as adults they cling obsessively to stories about their school days and classmates.
They must be so stupid it’s almost pitiful.

Even though the students themselves have no say in how they’re assigned to classes—it’s an environment they can’t choose—those who obsess over their class experience insist that everyone should bear all the unpleasantness equally, right?

You don’t have to talk to people you dislike outside of work.
Since the people you dislike can’t be unpleasant without you, they pour all their energy into desperately claiming that you can’t grow unless you associate with them.

They say that going to the riverbank on a bike with a domineering idiot to look at bugs and fish is something you’re forced to do in school life, and that it’s a memory of youth and a treasure from childhood.
And yet, there’s no end to incidents involving boys and girls who’ve been unwillingly forced into the role of a classmate who’s going to be killed.
Don’t you think it’s wrong for people like that to even be in school in the first place?

They say students go to school to be killed simply because they need someone to go catch bugs or look at some obscure river fish with—even though they’re supposed to die.

For the sake of those people, we have to hide our ability to study, hide our talents, and hide our good looks—and spend our school days holding our breath so we don’t get targeted by those idiots who are worse than animals, worse than insects.

So, since schools can’t screen out those idiots before enrollment—to keep them from ending up in the same class as you—and send them to separate training facilities, there’s a possibility that trouble-making idiots will end up in your class.

We’re well aware that these trouble-makers take advantage of the fact that others are hesitant to confront them—simply because of physical traits like being big or small—and direct their hatred toward us with a dark, bitter mindset.
The truth is, people like that vaguely know they won’t be able to handle corporate life once they enter society, which is why they remain fixated on school and classrooms even after turning 25.
So all we have to do is navigate the situation skillfully to keep them from picking a fight with us.

Those people don’t exist once they enter the workforce.
They really don’t.
Their presence is so faint you can’t even tell if they’re there or not.
Even if they are there, they’re just quietly blending into the masses of rank-and-file employees.
They can’t do any work at all.
It’s shocking just how incapable they are.

In that environment, they’ll knock things out of people’s hands as if by accident, breaking them, or spew hateful remarks—the kind that could land them in court—as if they were just casual conversation.
If they’re watched closely within the same company—if people think, “Oh, that’s him”—they won’t do it, and they can’t do it, so ultimately, I think they end up as social dropouts.
None of them ever get promoted.
Not a single one.

So it’s a very good idea to observe early on, recognize that “that’s the type they are,” and learn to avoid them.
This is a very strategic, smart, and quiet approach.

For now, you’ll be the only one who knows this big secret along with me.
You must not tell anyone about this.
Even if someone asks, “You know what I’m talking about, right? You’ve read that, haven’t you?”—only tell them if you’re confident that person will still be by your side after they turn 25 and that they’re a sincere person.
Until then, keep this to yourself.
